its a set of 2 books but i only got one book
They did not make it clear that it was only 1 book
but overall service is really good

classic text, but be careful about the volume

This is a classic text from the era before most genes were cloned. A potential source of concern is that it is sold without mention that the book is two large, similar appearing volumes. Currently only volume 1 is listed for sale at Amazon. However,resellers of the book may send you only volume 2. This happened to me twice and it was quite difficult to sort things out successfully. This apparently happened to the other reviewer as well. Things would be clearer for all if the second volume was listed for sale separately or the book was sold and listed as a complete 2 volume set (or both).
