Very practical guide to starting without religious or Indian jargon

I got this book initially from the public library. I was so impressed that I sought to buy it for my personal library. All I could find was out of print used copies. When it arrived I was satisfied. Condition was very good, though the paper was a bit aging (it is a cheaper stock to begin with). Several years later I now see Ian Gawler has published a new edition, I think it has a slightly different title. Since the subject should not change much, I would highly recommend either book over most of the others out there regarding meditation. This one is very practical and to the point. He does not bog you down with chapters on various religious traditions and exotic sounding Indan terminology. In fact he says that people put too much into the process. It really is much more intuitive and easy to put yourself into a state of relaxation than most people realize. In fact he says that by trying too hard, you defeat the process of relaxing.
